Moroccan Chicken Tagine

      • 1 chicken cut it in peaces

      • 2 large onions, chopped

      • 4 cloves garlic, minced

      • 1/2 teaspoon curcuma

      • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

      • 1/2 teaspoon black or white pepper

      • 1/2 teaspoon salt

      • 1 preserved lemon, use the inside and the skin sliced thinly

      • 1/2 cup green olives, pitted

      • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro and parsley

      •  1/4 cup olive oil

      • 1/2 cup water

    To prepare this dish, you will need either a Tagine or a large, deep skillet. First, place the onion in the dish, then add the chicken on top. Inside the dish, you can use either preserved lemon or fresh lemon. Add all of the ingredients, and if you have saffron, put it in hot water. After 10 minutes, pour out the water and mix all of the ingredients together. Finally, add olive oil and the skin of a lemon, as well as olives on top. Cook the dish for one hour.
